Barbour clothes - spotting a second !

Barbour use a system of eyelets that are punched into one of the pockets to identify items that are not up to there quality standard. These are not to be confused with eyelets at the bottom of pockets that are for drainage.

One eyelet is an item that has been picked up by their own QA department and deemed not fit for resale.

Two eyelets depicts an item that has been returned by a customer and has been replaced. Notice the two eyelets on the bottom of the pocket, this is normal on some jackets and does not indicate a fault. The eyelets towards the top of the pocket are the quality indicators.

Dont get duped like I did by a seller that has done lots of business on ebay. When I spoke to Barbour they told me they NEVER sell substandard items not even to staff at discount.

I suggest that if you see an item of clothing that you wish to bid on that you ask if its a second before bidding on it. If you was unlucky like me and have already purchased sub standard barbour wear off ebay then contact Barbour customer support on Tel 44(0) 191 455 4444

Good luck
